In addition to copying a food, including any found in our global database, you can also create custom foods from scratch.
You can create a food by tapping the + button in the bottom navigation or the + button in the top right corner of the food search screen, then:
Tap "Create Food"
Optional: If the food package has a barcode, then you can scan it and add it. Then the next time you scan the barcode when logging a food, this custom food will pop up.
Enter the Food name and nutrition information.
Optional: If the food package has a nutrition label, tap "Scan Nutrition Label" to scan it and automatically capture all nutrition information. No more manual data entry! The nutrition label is available to use on US and Canadian labels. Support for UK labels is coming soon.
From the food search, tap the Food tab
Tap on the food you wish to edit
If you're in a food logging flow, tap the ... button in the top right corner and select Edit
If you entered from More > Saved Foods, Meals & Recipes, then you can make your edits on the Edit Food screen.
