Track your body weight and view trends over time

Tracking body weight can be a struggle because what the scale reveals can fluctuate significantly and unreliably due to many reasons including total body water, the contents of your bowels, menstrual cycle, and more. These big swings can be noisy, demoralizing, and don't tell the complete picture of your weight change.

That's why MacrosFirst automatically calculates your moving average, smoothing out the trend line of your weight change over time so that focus on the bigger picture.

Add a weight entry

  1. Tap the + button in the bottom navigation

  2. Tap Log Weight

  3. Enter your weight and tap Save

You can also automatically import body weight entries using the Apple Health integration or Google Health Connect.

Delete or Edit a weight entry

To edit or delete today's weight entry:

  1. Tap the + button in the bottom navigation

  2. Tap Log Weight

  3. Enter a new weight value to update it or tap the red trash can icon to delete it.

To edit or a delete the weight entry on a past date:

  1. From the Dashboard, tap into the Weight chart to enter the interactive weight graph

  2. Tap the + button in the top right corner and select the date you wish to update or delete

    or

  3. Scroll down to the recorded weight table and tap on the date you wish to update or delete

Exploring the Body Weight Graph

From the Dashboard, tap into the Weight chart to enter the interactive weight graph.

You can change the date range of the graph by tapping the preset date range buttons under the graph or by pinching and swiping in the graph itself.

You can also control what data is shown in the graph by tapping the "Scale Weight" and "Trend Weight" labels at the very top of the page to show/hide each metric.
