Tracking body weight can be a struggle because what the scale shows can fluctuate significantly and unreliably for many reasons, including total body water, bowel contents, menstrual cycle, and more. These big swings can be noisy and demoralizing, and they don't tell the complete picture of your weight change.
That's why MacrosFirst automatically calculates your moving average, smoothing out the trend line of your weight change over time, so you can focus on the bigger picture.
There are several ways to add a weight entry in MacrosFirst:
Tap the + button in the bottom-right corner.
Select Log Weight
Enter your weight and tap Save.
From the Dashboard, tap the Weight chart.
Tap the + button in the top-right corner.
Enter your weight and tap Save.
If you've added a MacrosFirst home screen or lock screen widget, you can quickly record a weigh-in directly from the widget.
You can also automatically import body weight entries using the Apple Health integration or Google Health Connect.
To edit or delete today's weight entry:
Open the weigh-in entry screen
Enter a new weight value to update it or tap the trash can icon to delete it.
To edit or delete the weight entry on a past date:
Open the weigh-in entry screen
Tap the date picker to open up the calendar
Select the date you would like to update
Enter a new weight value to update it or tap the trash can icon to delete it.
From the Dashboard, tap into the Weight chart to enter the interactive weight graph.

You can change the date range of the graph by tapping the preset date range buttons under the graph or by pinching and swiping in the graph itself.
The graph can display:
Daily weight entries
Weekly average body weight
Monthly average body weight
You can also control what data is shown in the graph by tapping the "Scale Weight" and "Trend Weight" labels at the very top of the page to show/hide each metric.
For a closer look at your recorded data, scroll below the graph to view your weight trends, see your 30-day projected weight, and access individual entries.
The Weigh-in card on your Dashboard helps you stay consistent with weight tracking by providing a calendar view of your recorded weigh-ins.

Use it to:
Quickly see which days have recorded weight entries
Identify missed weigh-ins
Add or update weight entries for any date
Consistent weigh-ins help create a more accurate trend line and provide better insight into long-term progress.
